Wedding Dance Lessons in Marbella
Private wedding dance lessons in Marbella for couples who want to feel confident, prepared, and comfortable on the dance floor, not just survive the first dance.
Learn Your First Dance Without the Stress
Your first dance should feel like you, not like a performance. That’s why we create every routine around your song, your personality, and how comfortable you feel dancing.
We also consider the practical details that many couples don't think about. Whether you're indoors or outdoors, how much space you'll have, and even how your wedding dress moves can all affect the choreography. By planning around those details from the start, you can feel more confident when the big moment arrives.
We listen to your song together and map out what works musically
We match the style to the mood you want your guests to feel
We adjust the choreography to your venue's floor, space, and layout
We factor in the dress, the shoes, and how the fabric moves during turns
We rehearse until the movement feels natural, not memorized
We recommend starting dance lessons for a wedding about 3 to 6 months before the big day. The couples who start early have time to practice, refine the details, and feel comfortable with the choreography.
Here's what that looks like:
How Much Do Wedding Dance Lessons Cost in Marbella?
The wedding intro offer is the best way to start. You’ll consult your instructor, listen to your song together (if you already have one), and start moving. One private session is enough to see how the process works and whether it feels right for you.
After the initial lesson, you can get our wedding dance package, which gives your instructor enough time to build the full routine, polish every detail, rehearse in your wedding outfit, and get you to the point where the choreography feels natural.

What's Included in Your Wedding Dance Package
-
We listen to your song together and break down the tempo, structure, and mood. If you're choosing between a few options, we'll help you pick the one that gives us the most to work with. If your song runs long, our wedding dance choreographer in Marbella can edit it to the right length so your first dance doesn't drag.
-
We match the movement to the music, the style to the mood you want, and the complexity to your timeline. Some couples want a simple, elegant Waltz, others want Latin rhythms. We've also choreographed routines that blend two or three styles in one song, and the crowd reaction is always worth the extra rehearsal time.
-
A marble ballroom, a wooden deck, a grass lawn, and a tight restaurant floor all feel completely different. We ask about your venue early and adjust the choreography so it actually works in your space, not just in the studio.
-
Heel height changes your balance, your posture, and how confident you feel in turns. A long gown affects how your partner holds you and how turns feel. We build rehearsal time for your actual wedding outfit into the final sessions so nothing surprises you on the day.
-
A dip at the end of the choreography is one of the easiest crowd-pleasers, and most couples learn one within a session or two. Lifts take more time and trust. We only include them when we've had enough sessions to rehearse safely, and your instructor will be direct about what's realistic.
Styles Our Wedding Dance Choreographers in Marbella Recommend
-
The most popular choice. The tempo is slower than in the Viennese Waltz, the movement is smooth, and the choreography will look elegant even at a beginner level. It fits most slow, emotional songs, and it's one of the fastest styles to learn well enough for a wedding.
-
If your song has a bit more swing to it, something like Sinatra, Bublé, or classic jazz, Foxtrot is a better match than Waltz. The movement is smooth and flowing but slightly more upbeat.
-
Tango is for couples who want to make an impression. It requires more rehearsal time than a Waltz, but the reaction from your guests makes it worth it. Learn more about what we teach in our Tango dance lessons in Marbella.
-
One of the most underrated choices for a wedding dance. Rumba is slow, rhythmic, and deeply romantic. It works beautifully with R&B, acoustic love songs, and pop ballads. The footwork is simple enough for beginners, but you need enough time to practice it.
-
For those wanting something energetic and fun, Salsa or Bachata may be the right choice for you. We've choreographed routines that started with a slow, romantic opening and then surprised the crowd with a tempo change halfway through. If Latin styles interest you, take a look at our Salsa dance lessons in Marbella.

Best Time to Start Wedding Dance Lessons in Marbella
3 to 6 months before the wedding is ideal. Not because the choreography takes that long to learn, but because you'll have time to absorb it. Couples who start in this window stop thinking about the steps and start feeling the music. By the time the wedding arrives, the dance feels like theirs, not something they memorized last week.
1 to 3 months before still gives us plenty to work with. Most couples in this range finish with solid choreography and confident execution. The routine might not have as many polished details as a 6-month timeline, but the foundation will be strong and you'll feel well-prepared.
A few weeks out is tight, but we've done it. At this point, we focus only on key moments. How to start when the music plays, and everyone is watching. How to move together through the middle of the song without looking lost. And how to finish strong so the crowd reacts. It won't be a full choreography, but it will be far better than standing in one spot and swaying.
How Wedding Dance Lessons Work at Our Dance Studio in Marbella
Book your first visit and get 70% off the Wedding Intro Offer, and choose a time that works for you. You don’t need a partner, special shoes, or previous experience.
Step 1.
At your first private dance lesson, we’ll have a consultation where we’ll ask about your date, the song, and any wishes you may have. We’ll show you the basic steps of the style you choose and then guide you through your first simple routine.
Step 2.
Your instructor maps out a training plan. How many sessions, what style, and a choreography outline. Each lesson builds on the last. By the final sessions, you rehearse the full routine start to finish, including the entrance, the opening beats, and the ending.
Step 3.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Our Wedding Package includes 10 private lessons with full choreography. For most students, that’s a sweet spot. Couples who want a simpler routine can feel ready in about 4 to 6 sessions, but we recommend taking 10.
-
Yes. We've worked with everything from Ed Sheeran to reggaeton. Songs with a clear rhythm and consistent tempo give us the most options. Songs with tempo changes or unusual timing need more creative choreography and a few extra sessions.
-
The biggest concern we hear is "I'll slow us down." You won't. Wedding choreography is built for two people, and if one person isn't comfortable, the whole routine suffers. Taking the time to bring both of you to the same level isn't slowing things down. While one of you is learning the basics, the other is working on leading or following properly, which is a skill most people haven't actually practiced even if they've danced before.
-
The reluctant partner almost always changes their mind after the first lesson. Once they realize we're not going to make them do anything embarrassing, and once they feel how manageable the first steps are, the resistance drops. We've never had a couple leave the first session saying it was as bad as they expected.
-
A dip is easy. Most couples learn one within a few sessions and it's one of the best crowd-pleasers you can add.
Lifts require more time, trust, and rehearsal. We only include them when the timeline allows us to practice them safely. At ARTEM dance studio, your instructor will be direct about what's realistic.
-
Yes. The process is the process. We pick a style that fits the song, keep it comfortable for both partners, and rehearse until the parent feels confident. These are usually shorter routines, and most students are ready in a few sessions.
